I think we should always work to extract more power from the wind, the water, and the sun.
I also think that we need to begin rapidly developing and deploying nuclear power technology, including breeder reactors and small-scale high-efficiency designs.
I think that it's really important that we work in any way possible to lower the barriers (economic, cultural, technical) that prevent people from accessing communications technology.
I think that allowing patents on ideas instead of only on things is very bad, and hurts everyone in both the short and long term.
I like OpenBSD a lot for running networks and servers. I run Ubuntu Linux on my workstation, and OS X on my laptop.
